Sight beyond the Horizon 

I Terkaya Tixcy, as a beneficiary of the grant from the Rico’s Foundation, am grateful and would like to extend my gratitude to the founders and supporters of the foundation. Going to school knowing that you have the money to purchase the stuff you need for projects and events are a blessing. At school there are never-ending expenses and with the help of Rico’s Foundation I was given a Reassurance; Reassurance that there are others who see beyond the horizon.

 

There are people who care and are willing to ensure that there are others, no matter the circumstances, your status and who your parents are that you have the opportunity to forward a future for yourself academically and in any extracurricular activity. I admire the diligent work and effort put into the lives of people in the community, not expecting anything in return, but hoping that we carry the lesson that everyone is important and deserves a chance at a better future.

 

Without Rico’s Foundation I sometimes wonder how I would afford to buy extra materials and contribute to class and school activities. No one ever talks about the amount of money you spend after facility fees, books, uniforms etc.. There a lot more than we mention and to find a group which recognizes the struggle I commend you guys!. Thank you very much for caring and hopefully in the future I will also be able to assist others like you assisted me.
